Sticking request process valley – Morning Post

Sticking request process valley – Morning Post

Fernando Pinto threat with disciplinary proceedings pilots who contest the request.

The president of TAP sent a letter to employees in which threat proceed with disciplinary proceedings who does not comply the civil requisition, enacted by the Government during the strike 27 to 30 December. Fernando Pinto said that “in case of no-show the performance of work, will be given immediate initiation of an inquiry process.” It’s the answer TAP the position announced by the Civil Aviation Pilots’ Union (SPAC) that, through an internal statement, expressed the intention of breaking the civil requisition. Pilots say that “the government must comply” with the decision of the Arbitration Court at the minimum service take precedence over civil request, which will be contested. The union argues that the refusal of enforcement of civil requisition aims to “prevent the Decision to be applied in a discretionary way that interferes and the rights and guarantees of workers.” The SPAC ensures that minimum services will be met.

The government last week approved the civil requisition of workers of TAP. In full-out war between workers, TAP and Government, the ‘public’ advanced yesterday that the President promulgated the law that gives the green light to the privatization of the Portuguese airline.
