The Economy Minister António Pires de Lima, announced the launch of the line SME Growth, which will grant this year to EUR 1 500 million to small and medium enterprises.


                     


                         The amount available for 2015 falls short of the line value last year, which totaled 2000 million. Pires de Lima made the announcement during the presentation of SME Excellence award in 2014, which took place on Monday in Santa Maria da Feira, and what distinguished 1845 companies to have a well above ave rage performance.

Speaking to Lusa, the Secretary of State for Innovation, Investment and Competitiveness, Pedro Gonçalves, said the line SME Growth will be available “during the month of March.” This line will incorporate capitalization instruments worth 100 million euros, said the secretary of state.
