Debts with water, electricity and gas fired – TVI24

Debts with water, electricity and gas increased by 10% between 2013 and 2014. The increase reflects the height of the crisis and the unemployment rate, which left a trail of more than 150,000 lawsuits for debt.

According to the Ministry of Justice data for the last year, the bulk of the debt remains on the supply of goods and services. This is an increase of 10% compared to 2013.

The figures reflect the crisis and high unemployment, whose effects are well known by the figures for last year and show the track debt left the national injunctions desk, where creditors may obtain a document certifying the debt, without cluttering the courts.

In this counter the number of inner caps 500 euros soared 54%.

According to the Journal News , entered the counter a total of 62,164 cases, while in 2013 the number of debts for the same amount less than EUR 500 was 40,399.

As a rule, consumers turn first to pay the light because it is usually the bill which weighs more, then the water and, finally, the telecommunications package with TV and phone.
