IHRU will spend 20 million euros in the rehabilitation of buildings – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

Over the next two years, the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU) will send rehabilitate 2,764 houses that are under their management. The whole is concerned an investment of approximately 20 million euros.

Making an accounting to the buildings that are owned, the official said that of the 11,386 social housing managed by IHRU – 5,420 in buildings only the IHRU and 1,373 in mixed ownership of buildings – 3,691 are in poor condition, 3,116 in reasonable condition and 4,579 in good condition.

During the hearing, the official also said that most of the houses managed by the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU) and that carried over to the regime supported lease had a reduction in the amount of income in the order of 21%.
