Fuel consumption fell 6.9% in July – News Journal

The monthly fuel consumption declined 6.9% in July compared to the same month of 2015 and increased by 2.1% compared to June this year, according to the National Authority for the Fuel Market.

in its monthly report, the National Authority for the Fuel Market (TNGC) indicates that the consumption of petrol and diesel decreased by 6, 9% over the same month last year and 2.8% compared to 2014 and decreased 3.1% compared to the same month of 2013.

compared to June of this year, consumption monthly gasoline and diesel fuel increased by 2.1% in July, for a total of 491,810 tonnes.

the gasoline consumption in July was 93,804 tonnes, which represents a decrease of 9.7% compared to July 2015, and diesel monthly consumption was 398,006 tons, 6.2% less than in the same period.
