Executive will not back down in the decision to privatize TAP – The Ball

The Ministry of Economy insisted on Wednesday that the government remains firm in its decision to privatize TAP, stressing that a change in the remuneration policy is the responsibility of future shareholders of the Portuguese airline.

“All agreed measures between the Government and the unions are poured in the agreement signed between the Government and trade unions, and consequently in the specification that was created under the TAP group of privatization ‘, indicates the note from the Ministry.

“Any future amendment to the remuneration policy is the responsibility of the future shareholders of the TAP group premise that it was soon clarified with the unions in the negotiation process,” the statement added.

Pires de Lima, Economy Minister also responded to the taking of the pilots union’s position, stressing that “agreements between the word of men are to be fulfilled.”

It is recalled that during the day of the pilots’ union today broke negotiations with TAP and Portugalia.
