National unemployment falls to 10.5% in November – Money Live

The provisional estimate of the unemployment rate of November 2016 was 10.5% of the active population, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), this Friday. A year ago, in November 2015, the level of unemployment was 12.3%.

In the last month of November, the unemployed population was around the 534,3 thousand people, while the number of employees you have come to 4,574 million people. Year-on-year (compared with the same month of 2015, the volume of unemployment falls as 15% and the employment advances of 1.7%.
