After much speculation, appears to be unveiled Isabel dos Santos strategy. The counter-proposal from the Angolan businesswoman public offer (IPO) of CaixaBank is the merger between BPI and BCP. A proposal that the second largest shareholder is expected to announce soon.
This counterattack by Angolan businesswoman is a sure sign that does not support the provision of Catalan and aims at a more attractive proposition for shareholders. Some were, however, surprised by this scenario.
