The increasing number of tourists visiting Lisbon is evidence to anyone who lives or works in the capital. But now comes the confirmation that, in addition, visitors are also spending more money. In particular passengers of cruise ships last year, have left close to 92 million euros in the city.
In 2014, according to a survey of international cruise passengers, promoted by the Observatory Lisbon Tourism in partnership with the administration of the Port of Lisbon (APL), each visitor who came to the capital in this way spent an average of 183 euros. A value that is almost double the 97 euros registered in 2013.
