The Government decided that the price of public transport will not suffer increases in 2015. According to the “Morning Post”, the decision was notified to the Authority for Mobility and Transport and shall be publicly announced between now and Thursday.
According to the same paper, the Executive to have pondered the possibility of a slight fall in prices, since the inflation rate had reached up to September, systematically negative values, but the rate fell in October to zero .
Thus, under the concession contracts, inflation serving as a reference to determine the price of public transport titles should be the one that takes place in October, which prevented the descent.
