Minister of Internal Affairs admits create working hours in GNR – LUSA

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Constance Sousa Urban, admitted today to create a reference work schedule in the National Guard, one of the main demands of the corporate military.

“under the status of negotiations, I have yet to make an assessment of whether shall I not regulate rather the previous legislation, and set a reference time for the GNR,” said Constance Sousa Urban, in parliament, where to be heard as part of the appraisal discussion in the State Budget specialty in 2016.

creating a reference working hours for GNR it is an issue “particularly sensitive” to the minister.

“it’s a status that will have to also be negotiated with other sectors, notably the Defence. So I have to have some caution, but I am sensitive to this issue,” argued the minister.

Constance Sousa Urban said that is planned for this year the approval of a new professional status of GNR, which will have to be negotiated within the Government.

However, he said that there are two sensitive issues:. The creation of a reference work schedule and career advancement to the top of the official GNR

Creating a reference working hours for the military GNR is one of the main demands of socio-professional associations, is expected in the professional status of 2009 but was never regulated.
