Government exacerbates the “seal” and creates the new rate for cars purchased in 2017 – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

The Government will increase the Single Tax Movement (IUC). The measure is in the proposed State Budget for 2017 that the Business had access to this Friday, October 14.

The climb is above that recorded in the State Budget for 2016, where the increase was 0.5%.

The new cars purchased from 1 January 2017, will also count with additional charges in the IUC. If the vehicle is to issue between 180 and 250 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometre, it is necessary to pay 38,08 euros. Above that, the value passes to the 65,24 eur.
