President of SAD Belenenses confirms business connections the friend of Socrates. Carlos Santos Silva funded by two million purchase rights of the Spanish league and is still partner in another Rui Pedro Soares company.
Rui Pedro Soares confirmed that the Economic purchase rights of the Spanish Football League in 2011, was financed by businessman Carlos Santos Silva, who is in custody under the Marquis operation that also investigates the former Prime Minister Jose Socrates, on suspicion of corruption, money laundering and tax evasion qualified.
Through another company Santos Silva, links to Rui Pedro Soares extend to other business of football that are led by former director of PT.

The current president of SAD Belenenses, entrepreneur and also close to Socrates, has another company, Codecity Sports Management, which bought that football club.
The Daily News publishes today that prosecutors suspect Carlos Santos Silva has used money José Sócrates to invest in the business of television rights of the Spanish league.
