Consumer credit grew 30.7% in April 2015 compared to the same month last year, representing about 403 million euros, announced Monday the Bank of Portugal (BoP).
According to the data on the evolution of new consumer credits, despite the annual increase of 30.7%, the amounts involved declined by 8.4% between March and April this year, 439 800 000 403, 1 million euros.
Type of credit agreement, the car loans again in April represent the largest increase in new credit agreements granted before last year: car loans with property and other reserve (new) rose 72 , 6%, representing EUR 31.6 million.
