The Regulatory Authority for Energy Services (ERSE) determined that natural gas tariffs come down from July 1.

Customers domestic and small businesses, ie with a lower annual consumption or equal to 10,000 cubic meters, and that remain in the regulated market will benefit from a reduction of 3.5% in the rate. This decline is “a reduction of about 1 or 2 euros an average monthly bill of about 13 or 25 euros, respectively, corresponding, for example, a household of two or four people,” explains the ERSE in a statement.

As for the small industry (consumption exceeding 10,000 cubic meters) tariff reduction is 5%. And for the industry (medium pressure consumption) the decrease is 2.9%.

ERSE also said that the social tariff will also include a reduction, this time from 7, 3%. “Taking into account the change in the social rate of sales to final customers for vulnerable customers was set at -7.3%, its reflection on an average monthly bill of 12.5 euros is a reduction of about 1 euro” he explains.

The governor justified these declines to the “decline in oil prices, control costs with access to regulated infrastructure, especially the costs of access to the gas distribution network natural, and the allocation of the Special Contribution on Energy Sector (EESC) to the National System Cost Natural Gas (SNGN). “
