The National Communications Authority (ANACOM) estimates that until last June, about nine in ten fixed broadband customers subscribed to this service as part of a package of services.
The penetration of fixed broadband (residential customers) service was 55.9 by 100 private households and 37.8 per 100 conventional dwellings, “the regulator said in a statement. In late June, in Portugal had about 2.7 million fixed internet accesses, 2% more than the end of March, and an increase of 8.6% YoY.
