Horta Osorio wins 15.8 million compensation
Announced by Lloyds Bank.
António Horta Osório, chairman of Lloyds Bank group, will receive 11.5 million pounds (approximately EUR 15.8 million) of earnings for 2014, most linked to incentives long-term, announced the British bank in a statement.
The Lloyds also states that their right arms, George Culmer and Juan colombas, will each receive about 5 million pounds (6.9 million euros). The Portuguese manager had received in 2013 about 7.4 million pounds (10.2 million euros), a value which created controversy by the bank have given injury.
But in the year António Horta Osório put the British bank in profits and paying dividends to shareholders since it was rescued by the state in 2008, injecting around 27 billion euros, the statement from Lloyds discriminate portions of the remuneration of the Portuguese manager, of which little more a million pounds corresponds to the base salary.
The remaining 10.5 million are bank shares (900,000 pounds), board (568,000 pounds) and the annual bonus of 800,000 pounds. The lion’s share refers to long-term incentives, expressed in shares, amounting to 7.4 million pounds.
