Government raises public interest to contest suspension of … – Daily News – Lisbon

The government will invoke the public interest in privatization of TAP to challenge the stay of proceedings following the injunction filed by the Association Mr. Smith Goes, keep predicting the timing of the process.

On a visit to regional direction of IMT – Institute for Mobility and Transport, in Lisbon, the Secretary of State for Transport, Sérgio Monteiro, argued that “the public interest [privatization] is in plain sight”, noting that the process should proceed on schedule provided.
