Ibovespa closes stable after volatile session – EXAME.com

São Paulo – Bovespa closed virtually unchanged on Friday after volatile session, with Wall Street behavior and oil prices dividing the focus with corporate news and the local political scene .

Ibovespa rose 0.09 percent to 51,717 points after oscillating between 0.9 percent high and low during the trading session. The volume on the stock exchange amounted to 5.67 billion reais.

For the week, the Ibovespa fell 4 percent.

Scholarships in New York recovered from the initial drop and closed high, with investors evaluating the data from the US labor market as less disappointing than initially perceived. In Brazil, the special committee of impeachment in the Senate approved its assent to the opening of proceedings against President Dilma Rousseff, leaving the likely departure from the nearest PT.
