Algarve hotel had the best occupation of April since 2006 – PressTUR

The Algarve hotel had occupied in April 61.7% of the rooms, which is the best rate since 2006 and represents an increase of 11.2% compared to 2015, according to AHETA, despite a less favorable calendar this year, in which the Easter holidays were in full in March.

Already in turnover, according to AHETA the evolution
 not reached the same intensity as in occupancy rate, having been a
 rising by 6.9%, despite the strongest increases of occupation have occurred in establishments
 Top of the range and the main area of ​​the Algarve.

According to AHETA, for types of
 establishments, the villages and tourist apartments 5 and 4-star,
 + 12,7pp, and hotels and apartment hotels 4-star, + 10,8pp were the
 establishments had higher occupancy increases.

By areas, Albufeira, the main destination
 Algarve, had the largest increase, with +12.9 points, followed by Carvoeiro – Frame
 Pear with +10.8 points.

 occupancy rate indicated a year ago to the month of April, down from 56.2% to
 55.4%, points out the French, Dutch and British markets as those who had the
