From 15 September until the end November, municipalities or management companies that make environmental services to municipalities may apply for support for the purchase of electric vehicles. The Environment Fund is expected to contribute a sum of ten million euros.
The competition will be launched still under the aegis of the Portuguese Carbon Fund, because the Environmental Fund only enters into force on 1 January but should be only after this period that the applications will be assessed and approved.
