A new Year’s eve celebration ended in tragedy in the city of Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo. A man broke into a house, located in the Garden, Aurelia, the neighborhood of the middle class, and shot and killed the ex-wife, the son and other ten people that were in place. According to the Military Police, Sidnei de Araujo, 46, killed in sequence with a shot fired from a pistol 9 mm against her head. The other victims died from shots in the chest area and back. He lost his grandmother and mother in the massacre. His father, Sandro Regis Donato, 44, follows in hos pital in Campinas. Hidden in the bathroom, he managed to trigger the police by phone, and he heard Sydney threaten Isamar before killing her. “I’m going to kill you. You took my son”, would have said Sydney.
