Government drops the requirements of “professional qualification” and contract in the same recruitment group

The agreement is closest. In meetings today with the teachers ‘ unions, which are still ongoing, the Ministry of Education has decided to give up two “filters” that had the tax on the entry of teaching staff in the frames: the requirement that all candidates were qualified (with training specific to teaching in their areas of teaching) and who had been placed in the same group at recruitment (to teach classes of the same course) in five of the last six posts.

With these assignments, the Ministry, which is to be represented in the negotiations by the Deputy State Secretary, Alexandra Leitão, just by removing the path the two main obstacles posed by the teachers to the proposal of linking the extraordinary. It is also likely that the number of teachers to integrate in the frames is greater than the 4000 estimated for days.

A requirement that also will alienate some of the teachers that would be linked based on the earlier versions of the proposal.

The fact that the majority of the affected being teachers who in recent years have been contracted through exchanges of hiring schools (ECB) in a system long criticized by trade unions and colleagues, suggests that this requirement will not be an obstacle to a permanent understanding. But, besides these, there are also other teachers who pass out just because they have chosen a time more short this school year, by the trade unions to be heard by DN warn that there is still much to clarify and negotiate.

Of the rest, to what the DN found, the majority of the labour unions wish to ask for the negotiation supplementary to the proposals of the guardianship – to know the actual numbers of bindings now on the table – by that the agreement should not be closed before the next week.
