Medicine for Hepatitis C reimbursed at 100 percent – The innovative drug for the treatment of hepatitis C, Sofosbuvir, is since last night reimbursed 100% by the State. The drug will be administered to all patients who need it.
According advances the president of Infarmed, Eurico Castro Alves, will fire a hepatitis C treatment mechanism that involves the introduction of information about patients and treatments in a computer record created by Infarmed called portal hepatitis.
“It is very important that doctors introduce all information concerning the patient up to check whether the patient is cured,” explained the president of the body that regulates the industry of the drug.
