Tightens control the supply of fuel – RTP


         

  

The National Authority for the Fuel Market announced that the fuel sector will experience a new form of inspection in order to determine the amount of fuel sold effectively corresponds to each consumer pays. So far, computers were inspected but now tightening supervision in the field.

President Paul Carmona made the announcement in the commission of Economy and Public Works, where he was to be heard at the request of PCP.

The goal is to give consumers for the first time, ensuring that there are no differences between the fuel and one that will pay for the deposit.

These enforcement actions will be comprise between 10% to 15% of petrol stations, namely, about 340.

Quality control by means of law enforcement to the low-cost fuels, in turn, is more complete and has to cover almost all the existing stations.

In addition to the amount of control, the National Authority for the Fuel Market held since September last year 148 inspections on fuel quality.

In a petrol station in the Lisbon area detected an infringement which indicates practice of crime and fraud of goods. The case went to the prosecutor.
