The Social Security made 374,000 seizures in 2014, amounting to five billion, reveals the ‘Morning Post’.
Each month, the average of goods seized the workers and businesses came to 433 million euros.
Compared to 2013 foreclosures increased by 11%, which means more than EUR 600 million in the state budget.
The Social Security has strengthened enforcement actions, especially in the last year. Business, social facilities and even the beneficiaries do not escape the grip of Treasury control.
