Credit bad debt of households increases again in February – The Ball

The bad debts of households increased again in February, reaching 5,383 million euros at the end of this month, that is, 4.38% of total loans granted to households by banks.

According to data released today by the Bank Portugal, loans to households amounted to 122,879 million euros in February, less EUR 336 million from the figure at the end of January.

However, although the total credits of households have decreased in February from the previous month, the overdue loans increased, reaching 5,383 million euros, equivalent to 4.38% of total loans.
