The General Directorate of Civil Aviation “presented us with a document that satisfies us,” he told AFP Roger Rousseau, secretary general of SNCTA, which represents the majority of air traffic controllers.
A strike two days held last week led to the cancellation of almost half of the flights scheduled in France.
The union decided, however, to the notice of strike between April 29 and May 2 in order pressure to be assured that this is a proposal “firm and final”.
The union demands are related to the organization of work and the postponement of the retirement age from 57 to 59 years.
Last Tuesday, the SNCTA had announced shutdowns 08-09 April 16-18 of April and 29 April to 2 May.
