Strike at CP annulled 26 of 246 train trips planned for … – publico

                 


                         

                 

 
                         

A strike by CP workers caused the cancellation of 26 of the 246 train trips planned for this Saturday. Most deletions was recorded in regional services.


                     


                         Unlike what happened in the last two days, in which most of the trains did not circulate on Saturday the strike is just to overtime and the vast majority of trips took place.

Of the 26 canceled trips, 21 concerned circulations of regional service, other four were travel urban railway Coimbra and other urban train Lisbon.

Even at 10:00 am, were suppressed about 10% of the trips while the last two days the percentage of canceled trips was greater than 80%.

The strike Saturday was convened by the Federation of Transport and Communications Union (FECTRANS) and is part of an action that has taken place in recent months to strike days of holiday and overtime.

Some reviewers, who on Thursday made a first day of the strike, joined the action Friday (holiday) and today (overtime), following, therefore call the Review and Commercial Railway Union Itinerant (SNTSF).
