According to the Monthly Industrial Survey report of the Regional Physical Production of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) 11 of the 14 most industrialized states in Brazil (which includes a total of 26 states) recorded falls in production industrial, with the largest declines being registered in Bahia (-7.9%) and Amazonas (-4.7%), Santa Catarina (-3.3%) and Ceará (-2.8%).
the slowdown in Brazilian industrial activity in February also hit the states of Pernambuco (-2.5%), São Paulo (-2.1%), Rio de Janeiro (-1.9%), Paraná ( -1.6%), Rio Grande do Sul (-1.3%) and Minas Gerais (-0.7%).
As a positive fact, the IBGE pointed out the growth of production in February in . states of Pará (6.2%), Espírito Santo (5.3%) and Goiás (4.1%)
