Government takes the union of CGD cut 2,500 workers by 2019 – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

The Government undertake to the trade union of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, the objective of the restructuring plan is to cut about 2,500 workers. The number can be further refined, taking into account that the implementation will be the new administration, led by Antonio Domingues. The reduction of staff extends to 2019.

The information was transmitted by the Secretary of the Treasury, Ricardo Mourinho Félix, a meeting with the union, which was held last Thursday, June 30 . This Monday, July 4, the Union of Workers of Companies CGD Group (STEC) made a statement with the conclusions.
