Washington, 29 July (AP) – The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the United States grew at an annual rate of 1.2% in the second quarter, below expectations, indicating a first estimate released today by the Department of Commerce.
the analysts’ forecasts pointed to an increase of 2.6%. The data on GDP in the first quarter have been revised downwards and moved to 0.8%, after initially being announced an increase of 1.1%.
