The New York Stock Exchange closed higher on Thursday, with investors keeping attention for central banks after Brexit. The search for safer assets cradled the prices of metals, although some commodities have retreated as oil.
The European Central Bank (ECB) through reports signaled that is weighing on changing its purchase program titles.
The Dow Jones index was high of 1.33% at 17,929 points; S & amp; P slipped 1.36% to 2,098 points; and the Nasdaq was at a high of 1.33% to 4,842 points.

Initial claims for state unemployment, seasonally adjusted, in the United States for the week ended on June 25 was 268 thousand, 10 thousand increase compared to the previous level the revised. The level of this week was revised down in 1000, from 259,000 to 258,000.
The moving average of four weeks was 266,750, unchanged from the average revised the previous week, when the average previous week was revised down to 250 from 267,000 to 266,750. There were no special factors affecting the initial applications this week.
With the indicators shown today by the US Department of Labor, in total there are 69 weeks in a row of initial claims below 300,000, the longest streak since 1973.
the indicator for the Chicago business climate, NMI, rose 7.5 points to 56.8 in June from 49.3 in May, the highest since January 2015, led by strong gains in new orders and production. The rebound in June was enough to make up for the last two months of weakness, leaving the index virtually unchanged from the quarter to an average of 52.2 in the second quarter compared to 52.3 in the first quarter.
