On 10 and 11 September, the dealer Lubrisport in Caldas da Rainha will hold a test drive of the new Audi A3 and A4. The Audi A3 recently hit the market with new assistance systems to driving and engines as well as new headlights and redesigned taillights. Also new on board is the concept of operation and innovative viewing: virtual cockpit Audi. The new A3 is available in three-door versions, Sportback, Limousine and Cabriolet. The sports version Audi S3 is equipped with numerous innovations and has been further enhanced its dynamic potential. The A3 range is the most versatile in propulsion systems with the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron.
In information and entertainment systems, the new Audi A3 sets new standards again. The MMI radio plus with an electric 7-inch display belongs to the standard equipment. The optional MMI navigation systems and MMI plus with MMI touch together with the Audi connect allow many online functions for the vehicle. They include, for example, the navigation with Google Earth and Google Street View traffic information in real time as well as practical information about parking, destinations, news or weather. Information is transmitted through the super-fast LTE system. Regardless of the integrated Audi connect services, the system also allows individual Internet connection via Wi-Fi hotspot.
The Audi MMI connect app allows other services, such as streaming online medium and the transfer of a calendar from a smartphone to the MMI. The A3 e-tron also has services to program charging the battery and the air conditioning.
Mobile phones with iOS and Android operating systems are attached to the vehicle by Audi smartphone interface.

The range of powertrains
The offer of engines for the Audi A3 is composed of six engines (three petrol and three diesel). The powers range from 110 hp (81 kW) and 190 hp (140 kW). All are in compliance with the EU6 standard.
With the engine 1.0 TFSI, Audi offers a three-cylinder engine for the first time in the A3 range. The compact engine delivers a power of 115 hp (85 kW) and a maximum torque of 200 Nm between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. The new engine range of the input gas is efficient, without sacrificing driving pleasure.
The 1.4 TFSI engine ultra COD has as main feature the efficient cylinder-on-demand technology, off two cylinders when full power not is required. The engine with 1,395 cm3 of displacement delivers a power of 150 hp (110 kW) and a maximum torque of 250 Nm.
A technical highlight is the completely new 2.0 TFSI engine with its innovative combustion process. With a displacement of 1,984 cm3 delivers a power of 190 hp (140 kW) and a maximum torque of 320 Nm between 1,500 and 4,200 rpm.
The electro-assisted steering is precise and efficient in any situation. On request, Audi also offers electrical progressive direction, which is standard on the Audi S3.
The headlights of the Audi A3 have a new and distinctive look with its irregular bottom contours. xenon plus units are standard; as options Audi’s offering includes LED headlamps and, for the first time, Matrix LED headlights.
