Most of the hospitals classification of clinical excellence – Express

most of the 160 health facilities assessed by the Regulatory Entity of Health (ERS) in the second half of 2016, obtained the rank of clinical excellence, fulfilling all the criteria of quality required.

The National System of Health Evaluation of the Regulatory Entity (AS), whose second assessment 2016 was known this Tuesday, is a system that measures the overall quality of the facilities health care providers, in this case of the units in the hospital.

In the dimension of clinical excellence, of the 160 establishments covered 127 had this classification. And of these, 111 (87%) have achieved the assignment of the star corresponding to the first level of evaluation.

in This dimension of clinical excellence were assessed on the units in the hospital in the areas of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, Cardiology (acute myocardial infarction), Outpatient Surgery, Heart Surgery, Colon Surgery, Intensive Care, Care, Cross, Gynecology, Neurology (STROKE), Obstetrics (deliveries and antenatal care), Orthopedics and Pediatrics.

In the second level of evaluation, the only access to the health units to which is assigned a star in the dimension of clinical excellence, increased the number of providers that have obtained a classification of quality level III, the highest, in the areas of Outpatient Surgery and Orthopedics.

in Relation to the dimension of quality-Patient Safety – Security Procedures, the ERS points out that of the 160 providers 105 have achieved the assignment of the star corresponding to the first level of evaluation: 71 providers have obtained level of quality III, 28 had quality II and six achieved quality level I.

In relation to size Adequacy and Comfort of Facilities, and 122 of the 160 units have achieved the award of the star corresponding to the first level of evaluation.

In the dimension of Satisfaction of the User, which only assesses if there is a culture of evaluating the satisfaction of the users, were 83% of the providers who reported conducting client satisfaction surveys.

in all, were evaluated in 160 health care providers of the nature of the hospital, 87 of them belong to the public sector, 47 to the private and 26 in the social sector.
