easyJet increases supply in 5% – Economic

‘Low cost’ UK today announced a 21.5% increase in profits and 6.3% of revenues. Number of passengers increased by 6.6% to 64.8 million.

Today easyJet, the second largest European airline low cost, has announced plans to increase next year to supply by about 5% . The airline says it plans to increase capacity by 3.5% in the first half of the next fiscal year, reaching a growth of 5% in 2015.

The company informed the market a net profit before tax in fiscal year ending in September of 581 million pounds (727.7 million) 30, compared with 478 million pounds ($ 598.7 million) achieved a year earlier.

Sales of easyjet increased 6.3% to 4.5 billion pounds (5.6 billion), while total revenue per seat at constant currency grew 1.9% to 63.31 pounds (79.3 euros).

The number of tickets grew by 5.1% to 71.5 million. The occupancy rate (load factor) reached 90.6%, an increase of 1.3%, while the number of passengers carried increased 6.6% to 64.8 million.

costs per seat, excluding fuel costs, fell by 1.2% on a comparable basis, but grew 0.6% at constant exchange rates to 37.7 pounds (47.22 euros) due to increased airport charges.
