“The minister saying one thing and the Prime Minister to say the next day something different with a clear repudiation of the Economy Minister,” says the communist leader.
Jerónimo de Sousa believes the Minister Pires de Lima rushed and denounced the hidden intention:. “In fact, after the privatization aims dismissal sooner or later”
On Friday the prime Minister assured the House that there will be no discrimination between workers belonging to unions that have signed and not signed an agreement with the government.
At issue is the clause signed with nine of the 12 unions to prevent future owner of TAP to make redundancies while the state is a shareholder.
The Minister of Economy and Transport Secretary of State had said on Thursday that the clause does not apply to employees covered by the three structures that were left out of the agreement. This was denied by the Prime Minister during the biweekly parliamentary debate on Friday.
