Simple Fuel will be at service stations from 17
Lisbon – Starting next Friday, the 17th, all filling stations will go on to sell to consumers simple fuels, ie diesel and gasoline without additives and therefore cheaper <. / p>
Under no law. 6/2015, published on 16 January this year, from the 17th all fuel stations in the mainland will provide simple fuel to consumers.
Because they are simple fuels, ie petrol and diesel without additives, are cheaper, it is not known yet what will be the price that will be sold.
Official Source Galp has already ensured that the oil “will respect the law” in its 715 service stations in Portugal. BP also assured that he is prepared to comply with the law, from April 17 in their 350 service stations in Portugal.
The National Authority for the Fuel Market (TNGC), which will have the task to monitor compliance with the new law, explained that the law of simple fuels do not pose any restrictions on the marketing of fuels with additives, however, and in order to safeguard the right of information to consumers, the posts are required to indicate the type of additions in fuel.
The service stations will have to clearly identify the hoses that provide simple fuels in order to facilitate consumer choice.
