From Thursday the filling stations are required to sell gasoline and diesel cheaper, so-called simple fuels.
These simple fuels are distinguished by not have additives and therefore may leave cheaper for the consumer, at least in theory.
According advanced the Lusa agency, the oil companies operating in Portugal has not explained how will reflect in practice this law, approved on 16 January.
In some bombs around the country, advances the Lusa, there are already filling stations to make the exchange hoses, exchanging of ‘premium’ fuel by the ‘simple’ fuels.
Nevertheless, APETRO (Association of Oil Companies) warned of the difficulty in charge prices close to those of large shopping centers, such as Jumbo, for example, given the differentiation and business model.
The petrol stations Galp and BP, through their representatives, have said they will respect the law, to come into force next 16, Thursday. Only it was not clear, as is that consumers will benefit from these ‘simple’ fuel.
