Google strengthens in London in spite of Brexit – Cash

The giant technology Google is reinforcing the presence in London, at a time when banks and major companies admit to get out of this geography because of Brexit.

According to Reuters, Google has started the construction of a new headquarters in Kings Cross to double the number of workers. In the new facilities will work seven thousand employees, compared to four thousand employees that Google currently has.

The new headquarters represents an investment of 1.16 billion euros and will have 65 thousand square meters, designed by the british architect Thomas Heatherwick.

"There’s a great future in the field technology in the United Kingdom thanks to the talent, the institutions of education and the passion for innovation," said Sundar Pichai, administrator-delegate of the technology.
