The old Hospital of the Navy (in the Santa Engracia in Lisbon), was this Friday, April 8, sold for almost 18 million euros, after being tendered from 12 million. This was one of the four state property today auctioned at auction.

The old Navy Hospital facilities, with seven floors and a private gross floor area of ​​14,980 square meters, has more than 30 disputes and was sold for 17,936,500 euros.

According to the organization week Urban Rehabilitation (under which ran the auction), the property was acquired by a private investor of French origin.

from the batch of 19 buildings that were the square, 15 They remain unsold. But the four sold (two in Lisbon, a house in Cascais and building land in Setúbal) posted EUR 23.4 million in state coffers.

The auction was organized by the Directorate General of Treasury and Finance in Lisbon, including properties at different locations and with an aggregate bidding base value of 20.2 million euros.

in this auction, they were integrated real estate located in the districts of Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Leiria, Lisbon and Setubal, the most diverse uses, dimensions and bidding values.

Also in the municipality of Lisbon, one was sold building in the town of Mercy, property of the Employment and Vocational Training Institute, for 2.9 million euros, it has kept the bidding base value.

in the municipality of Cascais, a ground house floor, 1st and 2nd floors with a private gross floor area of ​​140 square meters, property of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Center Region, was auctioned by the 363,000 euro base value and sold for 379,000 euros.

in addition to these three buildings, building land was sold with 19,859.63 square meters in the district of Setubal, with a proposal to purchase for 2,225,100 euros, 100,000 euros of the bid base value (2225000).

These four properties were “provisionally awarded” to interested buyers, since during the auction there was no right of first refusal of municipalities where they are located the properties.

the other 15 state properties that were not auctioned relate to a home in Montemor-o-Velho municipality, Coimbra, with the bidding base value of 165 thousand euros; four offices in the same building in Évora (479,000 euros); a house in Évora (750 thousand euros); six offices in the same building in Faro (600 thousand euros); two townhouses in Faro, owned by the Institute of Management Financing of Agriculture and Fisheries (241,000 euros); a warehouse in Leiria, property of the Institute of Vine and Wine (360,000 euros); and two buildings with independent use, in Setubal, for 135,860 euros.

The initiative was part of the program of the Third Week of Urban Rehabilitation, which runs until Saturday in Lisbon Geographical Society.
