from the end of 2017, TAP will become the first airline in the world to fly the new Airbus aircraft, equipped with a cabin system refurbished.
the announcement was made this Wednesday, during AIX – Aircraft Interiors Expo 2016 which is taking place in Hamburg, Germany. The cabins of the Airbus A330neo aircraft include a new reception space, LED lighting and larger baggage compartments, as well as bathrooms and renovated entertainment systems.
In addition to improving comfort conditions, aircraft are more efficient and will reduce fuel consumption by 14%.
TAP ordered 14 of these planes last year, and has receive them next year. Prior to that, in June this year, you should receive two more A330s, which will enhance the long-haul routes.
