are ongoing search in the BES case on the morning of Thursday, confirms source of the Judicial Police (PJ) to PUBLIC.

                     

                         These are happening in various places and are being carried out by the National Unit for Combating Corruption PJ with prosecutors of the Central Department of Investigation and Penal Action (DCIAP).

The search began early in the morning and will be concerned money laundering crimes and tax fraud. Searches are led by Carlos Alexandre judge of the Criminal Court Central, reveals source of PJ.

PUBLIC know are not taking place at the headquarters of the New Bank or the BES headquarters where they were transferred the toxic assets in the group, at Rua Rosa Araújo in Lisbon, reveals official source BES. The traditional seat of the GES has been closed.

The SIC Notícias advances that these searches result from the arrest made real estate and other assets of the Espírito Santo Group (GES), including personal assets by the authorities to ensure any compensation in case of conviction in the processes that are running on justice.
