Infographics: Banking makes a profit of 467.5 million in the first half – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

Profits. Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Commercial Portuguese Bank BPI and Banco Santander Totta managed to present all a positive net result in the first six months of the year. Here’s the infographic that shows the evolution of profit but also other performance indicators.

There is already accounts for the first six months of the year for the financial sector. And the big banks showed positive results. A total of 467.5 million euros profits were made in the sum of the results of the four entities, compared to the 21.4 million recorded between January and June 2014.

This positive trend among major banks is a reversal over the same period the previous year, since then, both the bank led by Nuno Amado as headed by Fernando Ulrich reporting losses.

But not only similarities are the results of talks banks: Totta was the only one to show a drop in net operating revenues (business volume from a financial institution, which aggregates the traditional business, the commission charges and financial operations)

In terms of ratios, the. BPI and CGD followed a downward trend while the BCP and Totta managed to present a more solid capital.

The New Bank, which is also in the range of the largest banks, has not yet disclosed interim accounts .
