Altogether there are 43 personalities that PSD wants to hear in the context of the inquiry committee to the Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD). And the names are varied and range from former finance ministers (of both parties) to former directors box. This lot, the Social Democrats did not include prime ministers.
The new PSD application was submitted this afternoon and will be discussed at the meeting of the committee of inquiry to be held this Friday morning. The centrists also gave input a document request documentation, which ask also audits and reports, but add the request for a “list of members of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, accompanied by CV, the period under review.”

Social Democrats insist on the completion of an external audit. The case has given problems in the discussion in Parliament. First presented the proposal to conduct an external audit, commissioned by Parliament, it voted an opinion that prevented it to be illegal. Now this same judgment left the door open for the possibility of an audit of this kind can be carried out under a commission of inquiry, which has other powers.
This is what the PSD did. In a document submitted this afternoon, the Social Democrats insist on the matter on the grounds that “committees of inquiry have the virtue of clear, bring transparency, establish responsibility and thereby improve and encourage quality, rigor and rationality of audited entities “.
