Wall Street starts week in fall with pessimism surrounding the Brexit – Jornal de Negócios – Portugal

The main US indexes opened in fall this Tuesday, July 5, extending the pessimism that marks trading in Europe, at a time when growing fears that the departure of UK Union European further penalize the prospects for global growth.

This is the first week of the session for the grants from the United States which had been closed on Monday due to the Independence Day holiday celebration.

the Dow Jones industrial Average down 0.37% to 17,888.37 points, while the technological Nasdaq lost 0.51% to 4837.66 points. But the S & amp; P500 slips 0.6% to 2091.23 points.

The US actions completed on Friday the biggest weekly appreciation since November, animated by the guarantees of the central banks that are willing to act to curb the negative effects of Brexit.
