Microsoft buys LinkedIn for 23 billion – TVI24

A giant Microsoft will buy the professional networking platform LinkedIn for 23 billion euros. The combination of two great brands will create the largest social network for candidates seeking employment and companies hunting for talent.

The computer giant founded by Bill Gates, the richest man in the world, will pay about of 173 euros per share, making this business one of the largest ever made by Microsoft.

Despite the purchase, Linkedin brand and the social network will remain. The social network continará to be a separate and Jeff Weiner your company CEO.

Known as the social network for those looking for contacts in the working world, the joint platform professionals and companies. LinkedIn has 433 million users in 200 countries, only in Portugal for nearly two million people registered in the social network.
