A gang heavily armed exploded an atm of the Caixa Econômica Federal is located within the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), in the Eastern Zone of Teresina, in the early morning of Tuesday (1). After the action, the bandits also stole a vehicle from a couple and in the trail made several shots.
According to the police, the bandits arrived at the site at around 5h40, blew up the box, made several shots to the top and then fled in the against-hand. When you get to the roundabout inside the campus Petrônio Portella, UFPI, they abandoned the vehicle in which they went and stole a car from a couple who was in the place. Then, they took the car and fled . The car of the gang it was abandoned with parts of the drawer of the electronic cash, and with bills of money scattered on the floor.
The Military and Civil Police are at the scene, which was isolated for the attainment of expertise. The Federal Police has been thrown, and must investigate the case. The value taken was not revealed, but information realize that the box was stocked on Monday (31).
This is the fourth case in less than a month in Teresina. The last happened on the 18th of October at a college in particular in the Area East of the capital. Two atms installed inside of the institution were destroyed by a band formed by at least six individuals and that they came to shoot the shots to the loud during the action.
