German exports rise 1.1% in June in terms … – iOnline

German exports in June increased 1.1% over the same month of 2013 and 0.9% compared to May, reported today the German Federal Bureau of Statistics (Destatis).

The volume of exports in June amounted to EUR 93,400 million, while imports amounted to EUR 77,000 million, according to data released by the agency, based in Wiesbaden (west).

This volume of imports in June reflects increases of 2.1% over the same month of 2013 and 4.5% compared to May, which, in turn, represents the largest monthly increase since November 2010

According to these data, the trade deficit in June a surplus of € 16,500 million, slightly below € 17,000 million in the same month in 2013

The partners of the European Union (EU) were again the main recipients of German exports, with a volume of EUR 54 800 million, while imports from 28 amounted to EUR 51,100 million.

These values ​​represent counterparts of exported goods by 2.6% and imports by 5% increments.
