The Jerónimo Martins ended last year with a growth of 7.2% of consolidated sales, to 12.7 billion euros. Profit and EBITDA decreased in the period.
The company owns the Portuguese networks Pingo Doce and Biedronka Polish Colombian Ara ended the year 2014 with a consolidated net profit after minority interests of 301.7 million of euros, which represents a decrease of 21.1% compared to 2013, announced Wednesday the Jerónimo Martins in a statement to the market.
Group chaired by Pedro Soares dos Santos ended the 12 months ended 31 last December with an EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of 733.2 million euros, 5.6% less compared to the previous year.
Consolidated sales for the largest company Portuguese distribution amounted to 12,680 million euros, an annual improvement of 7.2%.
The shares of JM ended the session on Wednesday retreating 1.83% to 10.43 euros.
